THE COLUMN CAMPAIGN
This project hijacked British editorial publications. On 14th June 2017, the Grenfell Tower burned for 60 hours straight, leaving 72 dead and 293 homeless. 3 years later, the victims had started to fall off the news agenda. On the third anniversary of the disaster, we asked Sunday Newspapers to donate one editorial column inch to remember the 72 people who died during the fire. This led to influencers and media companies also donating their platforms to get Grenfell back in public discourse. News editors never allow an advert to look exactly like editorial content. I directly worked with the editors for this cause on behalf of Justice4Grenfell. No media budget. 100 million media impressions. £500K earned media in 24 hours. Memorialised in the Museum of London. Silver at Cannes Lions. Campaign Ad of the Day and Ad of the Week. Role: Creative Director
