I’m Remco. I’m a multi-award winning, hugely open, adaptable and collaborative Creative Leader who’s just finished helping run one of the best agencies in the world. BBH London. I’ve won Golds at Cannes, One Show, Webbys, Campaign Big, Creative Circle, APG’s and British Arrows. As a Creative Leader I’m generous, giving ideas away and helping teams with the skills to be the best that they can be for their careers and beyond. I get a huge kick out of seeing teams I’ve worked with do well and go on to run other creative departments. I’m here to help work, write, and get stuck in to make things better. I love being close to the work. I gravitate towards places that are rebuilding or building. Places that have disruption in their DNA. Places that are on a mission. Be it a start-up, to a big agency that’s turning things around. I’m not just in the industry to be a number. I’m here to drive and inspire disruptive creativity to help clients where disruptive creativity can make a truly meaningful difference to their business. I’ve been a Creative, Creative Director and an ECD/CCO running an agency, so I’ve seen all angles of a creative department and I use that experience to make the work better. I strongly believe in nice and good. Those two words are the pillars of how I work. How I work with clients and how I work with the creative teams around me. For me creativity lies in all different types of clients. I get the most creative kicks out of helping businesses that don’t often have a strong reputation for creativity and turning them creatively around, working hand in hand with senior client stakeholders. I mentor a diverse group of creative people across different agencies I’ve worked at from creatives at all levels through to strategists and account people. My door is always open to talk and help. I’m a grown-up who can have the big conversations, with the creative disruption of someone that’s seeing the industry for the first time. I’m hugely excited for the future of the business and believe that my and our best work is always to come. Here’s what some great people I’ve worked with have said about me: ‘I was privileged enough to work with Remco at BBH London. Outside of everything you’d expect from the calibre of creative at BBH, he had two rare leadership qualities - he listened and was human. These seem obvious, but in my experience truly rare. It’s the reason creatives and suppliers love working for him. And the reason clients respect and listen to him. There aren’t enough Remco’s in our world’. Stephen de Wolf, National Chief Creative Officer at DDB Group Australia. Crowned the World’s top Creative Director on multiple occasions, Ex CCO BBH London. ‘The only thing finer than Remco's luxuriant mustache is his talent. He is a cool, calm & collected Creative Director who was been there, seen it, done it and worn the over-priced designer t-shirt. He has an easy charm that puts clients at ease and makes teams want to work for and with him. He also passes the most important test of all: were you to be stuck on a train with him for an interminable number of hours, the hours would in fact fly by because he is good company: witty, smart, slightly mischievous and kind’. Alex Grieve. Global and CCO BBH London. Ranked the No.1 Creative Director in the World at the Cannes Lions. ‘Remco embodies the BBH mantra of good and nice. He is extremely hard working and kind hearted. Always striving to make great work no matter what form it may take, big or small. Constantly looking for ways to push the ideas, the craft, the teams. His dedication to the agency and the work is unwavering’. Helen Rhodes. ECD BBH London. ‘I’ve had the pleasure of working with Remco for almost 3 years, and I loved it. He always aspires to make work better, he really, really cares. He also cares about the agency culture and our client partnerships. He's a brilliant person’. Karen Martin. CEO BBH London. ‘Remco is a great business partner to have. He is an entrepreneurial thinker, he is brave, shameless (in a good way!), thoughtful, funny and charming. He has a way of bringing his teams with him, of pushing them without it feeling too demanding. He loves ideas in all shapes and forms. I’ve seen him get equally excited about broadband, sanitary products and cars. He walks the walk as well as talks the talk. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, and he is great at building client relationships. He’s not confrontational, but he will stand by his opinions and values. He even likes the numbers. Well, maybe not ‘likes’, but he gets them. And he’s nice. Not in a passive way; in a wonderfully passionate all-in way’. Melissa Robertson. CEO, Dark Horses. Ex CEO Now London. ‘Remco is a brilliant, passionate and proactive creative leader. I really enjoyed working with him - rare combination of down to earth practicality and out there ambition. A real partner to our team. Helped to make the Barclays brand the strongest it has been for decades’. Alex Naylor. CMO, Ex-CMO Barclays. A brilliant creative director, leader, team player and client consult. I had the joy of working with Remco before, during and after COVID and he was unflappable throughout all. In my time working with Rem at BBH London he not only led the way selling in a new brand platform for Barclays, but created award winning work for Grenfell. Couldn’t recommend him enough, brilliant around the creative work and a great man to work with and have as part of the team. David White. Head of Account Management at Wonderhood studios. Remco is, put simply, a class act. A very modern creative leader who works fluidly across the full spectrum of channels. He always strives to raise the creative bar and maximise craft. And he's brilliant at inspiring both client and agency teams. Mark Boyd. Manging Partner at Ogilvy London. Chat to me here: remcograham@me.com 07745950860
